Why do Christians always cry when verses are debunked and proved false in front of them?

I mean, when a verse is proven wrong to them, or illogical, or immoral, or mythical, all Christians go:

';COMMENCE OPERATION: LIES COVER-UP';

You provide them numeral and textual contradictions, like David killing 700 men in one verse but 7000 in another, they say ';Numbers don't matter';.

Provide them a mythical verse, one that says a Dragon tried to eat a new born baby, you get countered with a ';Oh, that was the dude trying to be figurative';.

Give them a verse that promotes killing and rape, they say ';Oh that';s just for the non-believers. Pft';.

I can go on endless. But I'd rather not waste time.

Seriously Christians, why?Why do Christians always cry when verses are debunked and proved false in front of them?
They don't cry so much as to claim that the verses are being taken out of context and then fly out the door before they have the chance to provide the correct context. Happens every time.

Either that or they claim that the OT doesn't matter ever since the new covenant and then turn around and quote Leviticus in order to justify their homophobia.Why do Christians always cry when verses are debunked and proved false in front of them?
When you become a better translator of ancient Hebrew and Greek then the scholars who translated the Bible, then you get to rant. The fact is that no language translates all that directly into any other language and when working with a volume of literature the size of the Bible sometimes inconsistencies arise, especially when multiple scholars combine their efforts. So perhaps ';great beast'; gets translated as ';dragon'; in one place and as ';behemoth'; in another. Maybe the exact scale of a number gets reported differently by two scholars. None of that makes the Word untrue, and none if it nullifies what Christ did for humanity 2,000 years ago on the cross.
You are seriously delusional if you think that's what most Christians in the world are like.

You may have met some Christians like that, but to generalise from your own inevitably limited experience is ... well it's the same irrational generalisation and prejudicial behaviour that lies behind racism or fundamentalism.

Grow up a bit, eh?

And trolling for people to reinforce your own prejudice (followed by BA-ing the answer most like your own views) is just a form of masturbation.

But hey, if it gets you off ...
Well the Bible like any other sociocultural work is a not literal and is the story of our relationship and understanding. It has to be taken as a whole interpretation not parts. Go ahead and point out incorrect verses and discrepencies. I won;t cry I would agree there are many, however it was how they understood it at the time.
i cry b/c i fear the lord has already turned you rebrobate and i also cry b/c it shows that those ttempting to corrupt the truth and are in dangers of hells fire b/c they lack the spirit of GOd, which so earnestly would love for them to have.. that sir is why we cry!
The Bible is all God breathed and is all true. It has never been proven wrong. It is 100% accurate. Please pray a sincere prayer with all of your heart admitting to Jesus you are a sinner. Have full faith that His blood pays off all of your sins and accept His gift of everlasting life. I pray that God blesses you with peace. Amen.
LOL....We Christians dont cry because people try to proove that the verses are false! Christians cry because people refuse to know the truth! And they dont understand what the verse means!
';They can dish it out but can't take it.';
