About buying this car, guy says it shakes going over 65 MPH that it needs front end alignment, true or false?

SO I'm about to buy this car the guy says it shakes when it goes over 65mph and that its because it needs a front end alignment, does that sound likely or is it something else?About buying this car, guy says it shakes going over 65 MPH that it needs front end alignment, true or false?
a wheel alignment will not cause the shake, but it can effect the tire wear and tire wear can cause the shake, or the tires can just be out of balance. Also worn or bent suspension parts can cause the tire wear.

Before buying the car you should take it to a trusted mechanic and have him inspect it for you. Most repair shops will do a visual inspection for you if you tell them you are buying a car for a reasonable fee. If the seller of the car wont let you have the car inspected hes hiding something.

If it as simple as a alignment he should have spent the $50 to 75 to have it done to make it easyer to sellAbout buying this car, guy says it shakes going over 65 MPH that it needs front end alignment, true or false?
Front end misalignment will not cause the front end to shake. It is most likely a tire out of balance. It is possible that it is a bent rim but that generally will shake at all speeds. An out of round tire will also vibrate at all speeds.
Could be. Could also be wheel balance which is much cheaper to fix. But it could be bad suspension components like a control arm or something which is $ to fix.
usually tires out of balance or out of round and some worn (loose) parts in the front end. out of alignment does not cause shaking.
Either that or it needs new tires or they need to be balanced. But no, he isnt lieing.
